When investing in shares, you tie up your capital for a very long period of time and expose it to a high price risk, especially if an unexpected crash is imminent. Do you know exactly in advance whether and when a crash is imminent.
If you are a short-term trader using the method presented here, exit the trade at the end of the day and be happy with your profit.
